So I have shaved my beard for the first time in 12 years or so.

Why you ask?
Well even if you didn't ask, I am going to tell you. Yesterday I received an e-mail from my wife telling me that a bunch of her co-workers were going to get involved with the Movember Movement.
Here is a bit about the program....

Well a quick run down is this. In order to generate awareness and raise funds to help combat cancers that affect men, Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health.
The funds raised through Movember’s US campaign benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Now, what does this have to do with a MTG-Themed Blog?
Well once again, I am going to attempt to use my hobby(and my face this time as well) to raise money for a deserving charity.
During the Month of Movember, I will be donating money when I play/Judge Magic Events. As a Judge, I will be pledging $1 for each round of every tournament that I help officiate. As a player, I will be pledging $1 for each round that I play in. I will be asking for any pledges and donations at all of the events that I attend. You can talk to me at any of these events and I will be happy to tell you how to get involved.
